Jessica Ellen Cornish, professionally known as Jessie J, was born on the 27th of March in 1988. She is an English singer-songwriter who was born and raised in London and successfully began her career on the big stage at a very young age, when she was just 11, in the West End musical Whistle Down the Wind. Jessica Ellen Cornish was born in 1988 on the 27th of March in the London Borough of Redbridge, in Chadwell Heath, London, to Rose (née Archer) and Stephen Cornish. She attended Mayfield High School at a young age, which was placed in LB Redbridge. The area was considered part of Essex until 1965, and Jessie J is also one of those students who calls herself an Essex girl. Jessie attended Colin’s Performing Arts School, and at the age of 11, and also got the opportunity to be cast in the production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s West End by Whistle Down the Wind. She later joined the National Youth Music Theater, and in 2002, Jessica appeared in their production of The Late Sleepers 2002.
